The Indian national Congress (INC) should take the following rural business model as a means of generating employment in rural India and work as catalyst between people and government bodies including banks. We have to change the mindset of a political party only working during election time. We can dig a goldmine in the villages of India if we properly dug. So many village industries can generate millions of jobs without migrating to cities. Some of the notable potential opportunities include:
- Village tourism
- Gas from waste
- Solar /wind power
- Inclusive farming
- Mobile school vans in remote villages
- Mobile hospitals in remote villages
- Village security forces trained in disaster management
- Black top roads connecting main highways
- Channels for over-flooding rivers
- Small check dams and generating small-scale hydropower of 25KVA
- One community hall in each village with rooftop gardening and rainwater harvesting for need of water in times of crisis and acting as shelter also, possibly rented for advertisement
- Proper solid steel and brick storage system in each village for storing food grains in times of calamities, by 0.8 mm galvanized steel and 5 mm steel plate, or simply using PVC 1000 liter capacity tank fitted on Iron stand of 8 ft high
I am sure if INC takes up the issue of political business in true spirit then Party need not worry about fund in future nor required illegal money for funding and thus can remove corruption from the system.
