Ways to get website traffic hype or hope?

Carol Forsloff - You have a website, and you are working hard to make an impact with whatever you have to say or sell but do companies that promise you they can get your website major notice give you what they promised?

In sales hype frequently on the Internet are those who promise to put your website at the top.  For many the top means hardly moved at all and a waste of money.  Many of these website assessment, promotion companies make money from programs and promises that don't make much difference in how the website develops or its position on Google.

But there is a guy on the block enterprising enough to develop a press release to explain in advance something new he says that will work.

What is that?  Glad you asked.  Well, he will be glad too if it works, and you buy.  Here it is.

Ryan Deiss refers to himself as a topic Internet marketer who is known for helping people get higher up on the page listings.  He has an upcoming "creation" he has titled Perpetual Traffic Formula that will be unveiled on July 28, 2010.  This program is supposed to help with organic listings, which Deiss underlines is that "Holy Grail" everyone with a website wants.

But who knew there was a "Holy Grail" for things like this?

In the meantime another SEO site this week gave what its organization listed as the best way of attracting customers.

Want to know what that is?  It is cheap, right here, right now.  It's this.

Write well, write interesting material; have something good to sell, and readers and visitors will come.

What a concept.  That means after all the super marketing and social marketing gimmicks it really comes down to that.

Do a good job, and they, like the movie Field of Dreams declared,  will come.

But for those who want to just sit back and see if the online traffic just comes from a software scheme,  there are those to be tried, just in case.

Then get back to the rest of us and let us know what you find out.  Because if you get a winner, folks want to know; and if you don't, you will join lots of people who learned that the hard way.
