the film has to do with the problems, the literal crisis in American
public education. Through a variety of stories it is set up to
facilitate dialogue about education and to focus the nation on taking
decisive action.

in New York and Los Angeles on September 24, nationwide in October. It
is produced by Lesley Chilcott, with Participant Media's Jeff Skoll and
