Carol Forsloff -Google dominates much of the web with its search engine and modified
ones as well. But it also is venturing into scientific projects
designed to move man rapidly into the futuristic areas we have often
thought of as only fiction.
Wind
farms in the ocean, cars that drive themselves, techno gadgets that
help the lame to walk are just a few of the many projects Google is
involved in that aims to be creative and expanding.
Analysts
say this is a wise move and designed to keep Google that force to be
reckoned with for years to come. It helps maintain its business and
prosperity as well.
Kurzweil
Intelligence, an
organization on the cutting edge of scientific exploration and
research, examines Google's ventures and maintains the company will
continue to prosper because it is looking into the future and
diversifying as well. It quotes from an article where Jay Wong, an
investment executive, as saying about Google's future value and present
ventures, "It's part of their creative culture and what makes them so
successful."
The
Android experience, http://www.android.com/that involves Google's
purchase of a small company it made a popular purveyor of techno toys,
shows how expansive the company's view really is, Kurzweil observes, as
it sees the company continuing its pattern and doing well because of it.
