Gizmag reports the newest gadget to help the gardener. They report the growth in research that allows weeds to be killed at their growth centers while at the same time protecting the plant itself. This took time to determine how to kill weeds without killing plants.
Right now, the system only works in the laboratory; but in the coming years, it might be possible for the ordinary gardener to get past the drudgery of pulling weeds and on to the enjoyment of the garden itself.
