Here are the best cities for romance in America

Seattle
Seattle, a place for romance
Marsha Hunt---"California, here I come," might be the cry of those seeking romance, with San Francisco ranking  near the top of the list for romantic cities.  So it's the cities within the states that provide the insights into where to go to catch that beau.

What has also been found is that San Francisco is the best city for gold diggers, those looking for mates with money.  Much of what has been found about mating in the states, is the romance that is possible.  The rest is up to those who are looking to look well, as ratios of men to women change with the times.

One of those romantic towns is Hot Springs, Arkansas.  It has those hot springs, and nothing is more romantic than a soak in a hot tub with someone you can wiggle your toes around, as travel writers have narrowed down their list to put it on the top ten of most romantic cities in America.

Coral Gables, Florida has romantic scenery and the Venetian pool as the draws for the furtive flirting almost anywhere, making it to number nine among the best places to capture romance.  Bring your own partner or find one there.

Cambridge, Maryland?  Who would have thought of this town as the place where romance makes a happening.  That fellow in the tweed smoking jacket and pipe may look studious, but underneath the twill is the guy with the good mind and the heart to go with it apparently, as the town is rich in entertainment and bistros for fun.

Lazy Savannah, Georgia with his heavily laden moss that swings from the trees, has a lush look to the landscape and offers a dreamy atmosphere for love to ignite.  It's a place to wander and wonder at the same time, it is said.

Kansas City, Kansas is livable and lovable, according to travel experts.  and a place to explore the shops, restaurants and other goodies the city offers those in love or those seeking love in all the right places.

Santa Fe, New Mexico, Charlottesville, Virginia, Bend, Oregon, and Napa, California round out the rest as the top four places for respite and romance for many reasons, including good hotels, places to walk and shop and hug a little, and the type of temperatures that keep those warm feelings from growing cold.

Seattle, Washington is on the best list to find romance, according to the Daily Beast on a Valentine's Day report.  But one thing added to the findings is the rate of divorce.  If you're looking for a marriage it ranks at an "A" but will love last in that beautiful town?  Likely not as well as Anaheim who scores a passing grade, even as Seattle nearly fails with a "D".  So love that lasts is one thing, and romance another, so it is likely one might find the best of both right next door with the neighbor.
