Scientology management sued by wife of former executive of the Church

Leanne Jenkins----Monique Rathbun, wife of Mark Rathbun, known as Marty, maintains that the Church of Scientology and its employees waged a campaign of surveillance, dirty tricks, intimidation and harassment.

Rathbun's lawsuit names the cult leader, David Miscavige and two other men working on behalf of the church.

Mark Rathbun left the church in 2004. Since then he and former Scientologist Mike Rinder have been frequent critics of the church since 2009 in The Truth Rundown, a series of investigative reports on the Church of Scientology.

Rathbun's defection from Scientology was a surprise to many because he had been the second highest official in the Church at the time. His reputation as an “enforcer” was well known, but he is now known as a major threat to the Scientology community.

A blog entitled “Moving On Up a Little Higher”has been created by Mark Rathbun in order to detail some of his criticisms of the Church and where he details some of the “ordeals” experienced by former Scientology members.
